When you hear MLM marketers talk about achieving success quickly, it’s probably because they already had alot of business contacts built up over the years. Your first year network marketing is going to be able building contacts and developing your reputation within the industry.
Find out how to boost your credibility without making tons of business contacts to get you started and see how you can slowly but surely increase your credibility with your market and prospects over time – make your first year network marketing a profitable one!
What if you’re within your first year in network marketing and don’t have credibility or contacts? You undoubtedly have questions such as…
It doesnt matter if you don’t have heaps of existing contacts, to succeed in your first year network marketing you only need drive, determination and the desire to learn the industry you are in. Success won’t happen overnight but work hard and it WILL happen.
A valuable lesson Mike Dillard once taught me was, “No matter who you are, or where you’ve been, you can always give.”
This saying really struck a cord with me; especially as a fairly new mlm business owner wondering how to make it in the network marketing business.
I set out to learn everything I could about personal development, sales, and marketing and told myself I would share as much knowledge as I could with people; which would in turn, attract them to me.
This is espesically true in your first year network marketing. The more knowledge and expertise you gain, the more you can share with people and the more receptive they will be to you.
The good news is, people interested in network marketing are also those interested in learning everything they can to succeed (at least the savvy ones are). They will more than likely heed your advice with open ears.
You may not be a seasoned MLM pro like Mike Dillard, but no matter where you’re at in your business, you can always give…and when you do, you will be given to.
As you give, people will begin to take notice. Many of them will be very gracious of the knowledge tips, and training you provide to them. Start collecting emails, blog posts, etc from people to help with your marketing.
Later on, when and if you decide to create your own information product to sell online, you can add the testimonials onto your sales page to increase your sales conversion power.
We see consumer comments, success stories, and testimonials all the time on sales pages and it’s very effective in getting people to buy. When someone is going to make a buying decision (or join your opportunity) they are going to want to know if anyone else has used and benefitted from your services. People don’t need to know its your first year in network marketing.
Each “thank you”, compliment, or positive email you receive becomes a powerful asset to you, your company, and your credibility.
Some of the most successful people in business are great networkers. It’s often said that “It’s not what you know, but who you know.”
Although knowledge is vital to mlm business success, especially your first year in network marketing, it’s hard to argue with the above quotation.
Especially when we see such incredible fortunes being made by people who know how to harness a business relationship.
In fact, sometimes all it takes is one relationship or one contact to change things around for the two of you forever.
Recently two online network marketers collaborated to launch a new product called Renegade University. They ended up bringing in over $1,000,000 in 3 days flat. That is the type of stuff mlm dreams are made of.
If you don’t know where to start when it comes to networking, I recommend using online social sites such as Facebook.com.
When using social sites, make sure you follow proper online social networking etiquette. There’s definately a “right” way to behave on these social sites and doing so incorrectly may cause people to block you from their contacts list.
I recommend learning from an expert who’s seasoned in the knowledge of social networking and knows how to use it correctly. Find someone who has been doing it awhile and has alot of success attracting business partners and contacts using online social sites.
Use what you’ve learned here today, and you’ll be on the path towards gaining tons of friendships and future business contacts. You’ll harness the power of online social media and learn how to benefit from it long-term.
Remember, your first year network marketing is an opportunity to make a big impression with your potential and future prospects. If you give value to people first, without pitching your opportunity, they will be more willing to work with you in the future.
The thing that really helped me when I was in my first year was Magnetic Sponsoring by Mike Gillard. It really shows you how to stand out and become a leader and gives priceless advice on generating and converting leads successfully.
